Architectural Sculptures for Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health
John Warner designed and fabricated the exterior sculptural elements for the Pine Rest Pediatric Behavioral Health Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan (2025/2026). The installation features a series of kinetic leaf sculptures integrated with sculptural tree trunks along the building’s façade, along with a vibrant outdoor rainbow tree installation. The moving leaves respond to wind and light, bringing motion, color, and a sense of life to the architecture while helping create a welcoming and hopeful environment for children and families entering the center.
